PURITY

PSA 19:8  The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The 
commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

24:3  Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?

4  He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul 
to an idol or swear by what is false.

5  He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his 
Savior.

51:7  Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be 
whiter than snow.

65:3  When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.

119:140  Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves 
them.

PRO 15:26  The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked, but those of the 
pure are pleasing to him.

20:9  Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"?

21:8  The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is 
upright.

30:12  those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of 
their filth;

ISA 1:18  "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your 
sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red 
as crimson, they shall be like wool.

25  I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your 
dross and remove all your impurities.

6:7  With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your 
lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

DAN 12:10  Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked 
will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those 
who are wise will understand.

MIC 6:11  Shall I acquit a man with dishonest scales, with a bag of false 
weights?

MAL 3:2  But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he 
appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.

3  He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the 
Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men 
who will bring offerings in righteousness,

MAT 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

JOH 15:2  He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every 
branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more 
fruitful.

PHI 4:8  Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever 
is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if 
anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

1TI 1:5  The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart 
and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

3:9  They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear 
conscience.

5:22  Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the 
sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

2TI 2:21  If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an 
instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared 
to do any good work.

22  Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love 
and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

TIT 1:15  To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted 
and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and 
consciences are corrupted.

HEB 9:13  The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled 
on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are 
outwardly clean.

14  How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal 
Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from 
acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

10:2  If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the 
worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have 
felt guilty for their sins.

JAM 4:8  Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, 
you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

1PE 1:22  Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so 
that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from 
the heart.

1JO 3:3  Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is 
pure.
