Answer:
"Outer darkness" is the darkness farthest from the light. In context,
it is a place where there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth"
speaking of someone in extreme torment and suffering. Obviously this is a
picture of Hell, and the servant is an unfaithful one, one who did not believe
nor obey his master--a picture of an unbeliever.
