Question

You mention in your blurb about baptism that the thief on the cross received salvation, and yet he was not baptized. How do you know from the Bible that he was not baptized?

Answer

Baptism occurs "after" salvation as a testimony of what has just occurred in dying to sin and being resurrected to a new life in Christ. The thief was saved while on the cross, and the Romans did not let him off to be baptized.  Always remember that water baptism was never and is not a requirement to be saved, for the gospel is an eternal gospel (Rev 14:6), and thus the gospel is the same today as it was in the days of Adam and Eve, Moses, David, the Apostles, as it will be in the Tribulation Period and the thousand year reign of Christ in the Millennium--a gospel always of faith and faith alone in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9)
