I was wondering if you can help me find in scripture. Why is it
that the youngest is always serving the oldest?
Answer
I can't find a scripture for that. We find that it was the practice in the Old Testament, among the Jews, for the "firstborn" to have all the rights and privileges over the other offspring. Obviously, it was God who created the Jewish/OT cultures and established that custom, which He then used to show that Jesus is the "firstborn" over creation, which gives Him all the rights and privileges over everyone, and especially over His elect "brothers and sisters." Of course, in America, that practice is not followed, and we are not obligated to follow it either in or outside of the Church.
